BENJI AND THE OLD MASTERS STICK

Benji loves to go downstairs to the gym and train with me. Usually we have a good session where he works hard and listens to my instructions and makes me proud with both his natural athleticism and instinctive skills. On days like that we get cool pics like these.

               Or awesome videos of flying knees

but you cant get flying knees like that unless you warm up first

then there are those days when he interupts my solo workouts turns into various super heroes and chaos ensues

as if wolverine wasnt enough next up is iron man, hulk, and mecha neck!!!

but sometimes there are those days when he doesnt listen to a word i say. yells at me. tells me i dont know what im doing. screams, pouts, cries and gets into everything hes not supposed to. just one bad thing after another and i swear to god hes never allowed in the gym again. 
a while ago we had a day like that and when we were upstairs i told him if he doesnt listen to me in the gym i was gonna send him to learn kung fu from one of my old masters and that they would get really mad if he didnt listen to him. he asked "what will they do to me if i dont listen?" i said "they will hit you .......... with a stick!" the look on his face was priceless and he said "ill listen to you in the gym daddy. i dont want to go to your old masters"
2 days later we went to his capoiera class but maestro mike wasnt there so sifu chris was teaching the class. the boys in the class know how far they can push mike but they are a bit intimidated by sifu chris. needless to say it was the most behaved ive seen them all during class.
at one point sifu chis had them in a line and got a bamboo stick for them to sort of duck under to learn a move. benjis reaction to the stick is classic!
